I love green juice, it's a super quick way to get all the veggies you need for that day and just make you feel healthy overall. You can throw anything you want into your juice since there's no definite recipe for this and it all depends on what you have and your taste.
Here are some things to keep in mind:
1. Be sure to have some leafy greens (like kale or spinach)
2. Don't overdo it on the sugary stuff (apples and oranges)
3. I use a juicer and I get the volume of liquid from the apples and cucumber, but if you're using a blender then you'll want to add some water
This is my go to green juice recipe, I love the flavor and the boost of energy it gives me. This recipe makes two glasses.
1 cup Spinach
1 cup Kale
1/2 cup Cucumber
2-3 stalks of Celery
A handful of Parsley
2 Green Apples
1/2 inch of Ginger
Juice of 1 Lime
1. Chop everything up.
2. Juice it.
3. Add ice and enjoy!
Including prep and clean up time, making this takes me about 30 minutes (I'm a slow chopper). I hope you try this out and if you do let me know what you think.
